About Lois Lowry
Lois Lowry, 2007 Margaret A. Edwards Award recipient for The Giver and her lifetime contribution to young adult literature, is a two-time Newbery Medalist. She is also the author of Number the Stars and the Gooney Bird Greene and Anastasia Krupnik books. Lowry was interviewed while in Madison, Wisconsin; she lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
