Electronic Education Report (Simba Information) featured TeachingBooks in their article, "Online Resources Bring Students Back to Books." The piece focused on the online, then in-print success of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and quoted TeachingBooks' founder Nick Glass on the role of the Internet to "get 'screen-agers' into a book that doesn't have a screen. Technology can be the great equalizer because nearly every school has access to the Internet."

District Administration magazine highlights TeachingBooks in its "Multimedia Lit" article that uses "multimedia and other resources to bring books to life and get pupils in any grade excited about reading." TeachingBooks.net is being considered for the Top 100 Products in K-12 Education for 2007. Educators vote for their favorite products, and at the end of the year District Administration will publish a special issue showcasing the Top 100 Products for 2007.
