Book Descriptions
for All Fall Down by Helen Oxenbury
From Cooperative Children's Book Center (CCBC)
Four toddlers in day-care engage in simple, everyday activities such as clapping hands, waving and bouncing on the bed in an 8½" by 8½" format. The spare, rhyming text is accompanied by wonderfully humorous full-color illustrations which show energetic babies of four different races: Black, Hispanic, white and Asian. (Ages 6 months-3 years)

From the Publisher
Looking over these books is akin to being in the middle of a room full of toddlers. An oversized format and the large scale will invite and divert. The text isn't particularly memorable; instead, these are a showcase for the always winsome, this time multiracial Oxenbury babes, who spill on each other, sing together, play with adults, bounce on beds, clap hands, and play with fingers or toes. Lively and oh, so user-friendly.
