Gail Jarrow: Hello. My name is Gail Jarrow. Gail means lively, which is a good meaning, I think. I don't often run into another Gail these days, but when I was growing up, there were three Gails in my class. Fortunately, we all spelled our names in a different way. I'm G-A-I-L. Jarrow is my husband's name. Jarrow is a very old city in England. I thought it would be easier for people to say and spell than my maiden name had been, but I was wrong. Jarrow is mispronounced all the time. I like it anyway.
