A self-published volume documents the way of life of the Ohlone, an indigenous group who lived in central California long before European colonization. Drawing on credible regional resources, the compilation of information brings the culture and struggle of this group of Native Americans to the fore. In doing so, it extends the record of native people who suffered at the hands of white invaders and whose will to resist was equal to all.
