A young Ojibwa boy grows up with his grandfather's teachings and learns the values of life through the lessons of history, culture and natural environment. His willingness to learn these important life-values gives and additional sense of accomplishment to his grandfather's life and, in return, the grandfather gives his Eagle Feather to the young boy. This act of giving is an honour among the Native people who revere the all-seeing messenger of the Creator, the eagle.
