From The United States Board on Books for Young People (USBBY)
After the death of his mother, Sam travels from America to live with his cousin Matt and his family. Sam, Matt, Tyrone, and Jake (the “Sheds”) decide to trick a group of female classmates (the “Bitches”), and Sam dresses like a girl and infiltrates their group. Sam enjoys playing this gender role more than his friends expect, and after several comical events, his secret is revealed.
