Susan Elya, a former Spanish teacher, and Lee Chapman, who lives in Mexico, have teamed up to create a charming, rhyming and counting story about eight animals who go to town. The readers counts along as each animal chooses a favorite food, and then as they dance the night away. The Spanish words are all easy to figure out from the text, and the poetry is irresistibly readable.
