by Peter Sís
When a young boy carries his toy dinosaur into the bathtub, the toy acts as a springboard for increasingly detailed imaginary play. Before the bath is over, the child is sitting in a shallow pond in the Age of Reptiles, surrounded by thirteen dinosaurs on a wordless fold-out page. But when Mom calls from the next room, the dinosaurs quickly exit the scene, leaving the child and his toy in a splash-drenched bathroom. (Ages 3-6)

It starts in the tub, with a dinosaur bath toy.But then another dinosaur pops out of the water. And look out -- here comes another -- and another -- and ANOTHER.
Fill the bathtub.
It could happen.
All it takes is imagination!
