Frances Dowell: My name is Frances O'Roark Dowell, and no one spells any of my names correctly, and I don't care. It's Frances with an E; mostly it's spelled with an I. It's O'Roark with a roar in it, R-O-A-R-K. It's never spelled that way. And Dowell is my married name, which one of the reasons I thought it would be nice to take on because I thought people could spell that, and they don't. They spell it D-O-W or Powell, P as in Paul, O-W-E-L-L. So, I think I'll add another name before it's all over just to get one that is spelled correctly.
