TeachingBooks has newly created games that provide both enjoyment and learning opportunities. Develop vocabulary, make predictions, and create book, lesson, or theme reveals as ways to spark attention and actively engage readers.

Games can be played for favorite books, selected titles of interest, grade level, cultural experience, genre, and more. These games join the Author/Illustrator Name Game in our For Fun collection.


Analyze Detail in Graphic Novels

Graphic novels contain a variety of details that, when reflected upon, aid in the development of visual literacy. Details like sound effects, frame structure, the shape of speech bubbles, and much more all act as critical elements to the telling of the story.
