Creating Custom Reading Lists
With TeachingBooks create and share custom lists to build collections of personalized resources that deepen connections to titles and authors.
First, check to see if you are logged in as an educator by looking for your name at the top left of the screen.
To create a list, open the toggle menu indicated by the three lines to the left of the TeachingBooks logo. Select “Your Reading Lists”. Choose “Create a New List”. Give your list a title and add a description. Use “Quick Add by Book Title” to look up titles or scan the ISBN and add to them your list by selecting the red plus icon. Be sure to save. Or add titles to your lists when searching by selecting the red plus icon. Annotate titles to add assignments, notes, due dates or anything that you want the recipient to know. Select which list and add it.
To locate your lists look under the toggle menu when you are logged in as an educator. From here you can view, edit, delete or duplicate your list. Use the sharing tools indicated by the red arrow to share a list. Choose the option that works best for you. The recipient will not need to sign in or search the database to get these resources. They can instantly access what you have shared.
